I met the girl singer from the punk band The Gonads (Gary Bushall's band) on Saturday night at the UK Subs gig at the 100 Club.
She said that they sing 'Charlton Boys' although Bushall is the only person in the band who is actually from Charlton.
She was busy telling me how great South London is when she dropped a tiny (but great) story into the conversation.
She didn't know I'm West Ham but she was telling me that they sometimes support The Cockney Rejects and 'then we have to change Charlton Boys to 'London Boys' because it wouldn't go down very well with their fans'.
That's really all you need to know about South London.

I was in Battersea for a while before moving out to the states, loved it.
Great pubs, just walked along the river to work and easy in a can home if late at night

Could be in a pub drinking it, after 3 pints you feel totally normal, then you pop outside and the fresh air hits you and BANG it's like you've suddenly been on it all day, feel all floaty as well. Fucking weird.

Brewed down near me in Faversham, load sof pubs my way have it
and yeah has an effect stronger than the % would seem sometimes
You feel ok then go to get up and have bandy legs!

quite impressed with Brixton when i visited my daughter who is renting there , nice pub "the elm park tavern" , places are on the up around there no doubt about that .

i moved to greenwich a year ago from, strangely enough, aldgate.
it was here or viccy park as we've had a kid and wanted some green space
got to say greenwich is lovely - and i can get to cannon street in ten minutes on the overland
just like all of london - the pleasant and the grim are never that far from each other...

Bird I work with is working from home (and yesterday) as she reckons there are over running engineering works from the weekend.
She lives in Dartford and must think we were all born yesterday.
Typical weak, Kent, Millwall cunt.
There were - along with tube failure at Victoria
My hour journey took 3 hours
